The beating heart of Deskk is a management environment that makes ICT easier than ever. That was the challenge for KNALGEEL. How can a business owner or employee manage a complete infrastructure of work systems without understanding ICT?
In collaboration, we developed a dashboard that makes this simpler than you can imagine. With a few clicks, you can close a license for software packages, set up shared folders, give groups of employees access to programs and accounts within their system, and set a timer on the access for the intern. It can even be done while you're on the train. On your smartphone.

How did the idea for Deskk originate?
Founder Wouter Zijlstra: "Customers of my wifi company Slimmer had old servers. They were about to explode. That's why I wanted to come up with a smart solution. I saw that other companies were not doing it well. For example, they bought very expensive servers and crammed as much as possible onto one server. That's not nice and not safe. It can be much better. I built a first draft for a customer. He was very satisfied. After two years he said, 'Why don't you sell it to other companies? It works really well.'<br>'I started Windows10Werkplek.nl and did a survey of what customers wanted. That was mainly freedom. To cancel the service monthly, install things on the system yourself, choose programs, and add and remove users. At first, I wanted to do everything myself. But I can't program and it didn't look good. Then I met KNALGEEL."
