KNALGEEL builds an all-in-one solution
Planmeister is the end of endless phone calls, stress and machines standing idle for no reason. Planmeister backs up planners and other hard workers in civil engineering as they nail down the schedule, deploy their own equipment to the max, cut costs and shrink their carbon footprint.
The people behind Planmeister knew first-hand how much time and stress it takes to get a schedule sorted. They saw the need for a platform or tool that instantly shows where each machine is and who nearby has a machine to spare. Building Planmeister took more than a year, but the result is more than worth it.
The platform is packed with the kind of features planners have been crying out for. Like searching for machines by their on-site location instead of the company address. Cranes can be picked by weight, and a few taps select all the attachments at once. For specialists, you can filter by the gate instructions commonly required to enter big construction sites.
We could name plenty more features, but in the end it all comes down to knowing who/what, where and when.
The Planmeister team came to KNALGEEL with the challenge of building a platform or tool that instantly shows where each machine is and who nearby has a machine to spare. They wanted a solution for the time-consuming, stressful planning process in the civil engineering sector, one that also helps deploy equipment to the max, cut costs and shrink the carbon footprint.
Planmeister came to KNALGEEL for our fresh take on design & development. On top of that, we have highly experienced, skilled developers who can handle Planmeister's complex architecture and technical challenges.
The team was made up of Roban and Han from KNALGEEL and Kor, Harm, Riekie and Anouk from Planmeister. They took on the problem the agile way: building towards a working product in two-week sprints. At the end of every sprint the Planmeister team got a demo. That's how a product emerged that fits what Planmeister wanted to a tee.
The end result is Planmeister: a platform with features that help planners plan and organise equipment and staff efficiently in the civil engineering sector. Think searching for machines by on-site location, selecting cranes by weight and filtering specialists by gate instructions. Getting there took the KNALGEEL and Planmeister team over a year of development.
Looking ahead, Planmeister wants to keep improving to deliver the most innovative, problem-solving and best-fitting product it can. The end goal: become the market leader in civil engineering. And never let a machine stand idle for no reason again.
